Millennials are frequently more tech-savvy than their instructors and need a stimulating environment in which to learn. The course provided some great ideas on using technology to engage these computer-age students, as well as platforms to bring in older students to elevate their learning experience.

As we are currently conducting all of our JSOU courses online/virtually, this course is very relevant to our situation and emphasizes the usefulness of social media, collaborative sharing programs etc. that could be useful if implemented in our course structure.

I learned a lot on how to use technology in multiple ways in the classroom to engage students and promote active learning.

This course needs to be updated consistently to keep up with new technology, just like it's teaching us to do. Some of the entities covered don't exist anymore. Also, I am a millennial. Even teaching in higher ed, most of my students are younger than the millennial generation.

This course has great information for teachers transitioning to online teaching.
