I really thought the course connected some important and sometimes misunderstood concepts. I liked the examples of best practices.

This was the best/most relevant course I have taken so far. It was very well organized and structured.

Clear and concise course content walked me through salient points in the process of learning new material relative to the topic.

I really enjoyed learning how to incorporate the active learning module into my course. This course also provided great examples for me to follow, and explained how to utilize the items so that I am a more effective instructor. I feel more inclined to try to utilize more active learning techniques, especially in my discussion board, which sometimes needs a little more engagement and participation from the student.

Great information that all instructors should know and utilize. I plan on sharing this with my SME/Instructors for increased active learning on their courses.

The content was excellent. I have not taught an online course before, but I have an interest in teaching online courses. The information presented certainly gives me an solid idea of the active learning strategies that would be effective in an online setting. Even if I don't teach in an online environment, I can still incorporate many of the strategies in my classroom.

I really enjoyed this class. It really gave me a lot of information that I am excited to look at including the websites of tools for my students! We are starting a new LMS next week so this will incorporate nicely into our next adventure!

I am not teaching this term. However, the knowledge gleaned from this course is invaluable. It prepares me to help my students to think critically as they progress though the course. They then could utilize this valuable skill in their work and or life situations.

I am new to education and thoroughly enjoyed the information on active learning, which is applicable to both traditional and online classrooms.

In this course I learned about the importance of Active Learning in the Online teaching environment and how it assists students to increase their critical thinking. The three components of learning that were discussed included Collaborative, Cooperative, and Problem-Based. It was interesting to learn about the barriers that exists for Active learning from the perspective of the student, instructor, institutions, and technology and how each must be addressed to be successful with this method of teaching. I highly recommend this course and I will definitely implement Active Learning in my online course.

I think this course was very helpful for me to understand some basic concepts regarding online learning.
